About Me
Camilo Arenivar is my name. Born in June of 1967 I grew up in the 1970s but was old enough to experience the 1980's in it's entirety. I remember a world before AIDS and the Internet. Not to imply those two are synonymous. The world has changed before my eyes. And probably yours too.
This was initially created to be 99.9% a blog about politics. As a gay Latino, I may have a unique connection to some of the issues. But with the election of Barack Obama, and ironically enough, the passage of Prop 8, it will be about current events and other things I want to express.
I also am presently involved in different forms of indie music, notably gay hip hop and Latin alternativo although I will probably not write too much about those two things. This is more of a current events blog. I had a journal, and those are the things you don't want EVERYONE knowing.
Not everything in this blog will be written by me(Occasionally it will be things I have re-posted!). When I re-post other's articles or press, it's because I find it stunningly well said and will credit the source.
